Veiligheidsroosters type LHD® worden gekenmerkt door minder gaten (minder dan 5% luchtstroom) en hebben ondanks deze beperkte perforatie een afvoer capaciteit van ongeveer 600 liter per M2 per minuut op basis van een minerale olie volgens DIN 57370.
Type LHD® wordt toegepast waar antislip en brandvertraging vereist is - vaak als hitteschild op platforms en voor vloeren in transformatorstations. Veiligheidsroosters Type LHD® zijn getest en goedgekeurd om zijn vermogen het doordringen van vlammen te vertragen en wordt gebruikt op offshore olieplatforms over de hele wereld.
De LHD roostervloer is tevens een slim, voordelig en duurzaam alternatief voor bestaande vlamdovende constructies.
