Characterizes with a smaller number of holes than the O-series. Type K is applied where an even and comfortable surface is required. Used often in stairways and residential buildings and is produced as single panels og welded as gratings.

- Upward grip holes: dia. 14 mm
- Downward drainage holes: dia. 9 mm
- C-C grid: 50 x 50 mm
- Ball proof: 15, 20, 35 mm in accordance with BS 4592
- Fire resistance: Critical temperature 550 °C
